BOOK REVIEW: ARISTOTLE AND DANTE DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE BY BENJAMIN ALIRE SAENZ

TITLE: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.  AUTHOR: Benjamin Alire Saenz  GENRE: Young Adult FORMAT: E-book GOODREADS SYNOPSIS: Dante can swim. Ari can't. Dante is articulate and self-assured. Ari has a hard time with words and suffers from self-doubt. Dante gets lost in poetry and art. Ari gets lost in thoughts of his older brother who is in prison. Dante is fair skinned. Ari's features are much darker. It seems that a boy like Dante, with his open and unique perspective on life, would be the last person to break down the walls that Ari has built around himself. But against all odds, when Ari and Dante meet, they develop a special bond that will teach them the most important truths of their lives and help define the people they want to be. MY FAVOURITE CLASSIC BOOKS OF ALL TIME.

Here are my favourite classics of all time (so far!). Usually, classics are considered being boring reads and not everyone chooses to read it. But trust me, the list of books I have mentioned here are not the least bit boring.  Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen: Goodreads Synopsis: Since its immediate success in 1813, Pride and Prejudice has remained one of the most popular novels in the English language. Jane Austen called this brilliant work "her own darling child" and its vivacious heroine, Elizabeth Bennet, "as delightful a creature as ever appeared in print." The romantic clash between the opinionated Elizabeth and her proud beau, Mr Darcy, is a splendid performance of civilized sparring. And Jane Austen's radiant wit sparkles as her characters dance a delicate quadrille of flirtation and intrigue, making this book the most superb comedy of manners of Regency England. My Opinion: “Pride and Prejudice” one of the most acclaimed classic

MY TOP 10 FAVOURITE READS OF 2018

For me, 2018 has been a great year on reading-wise. I couldn’t be happier. I read 40 books in 2018, 10 books among them are going to be my all-time favourites. Majority of them has published in the earlier years. These books taught me several life lessons which I could hold through my entire journey.  1. A man called Ove by Fredrik Backman A story of a grumpy old man, Ove, who hate technology and believes those are just a waste of time. The story gets funny, emotional and touches the heart at the end. It taught me sincere relations are eternal and one must always cherish them. You can check out my review of this book. 2. Goat Days by Benyamin A realistic story inspired by a real incident. Oh boy oh! Be ready to cry out if you will ever read this. The main plotline of the story is the protagonist who accidentally traps in a desert as a goatherd and forced to work as a slave. You will learn how to be optimistic even in the middle of chaos after reading the book. Y
